Join fellow K-12 CS educators for a 5-day learning experience centered on building prosperous computer science programs in every Illinois school district.
During this one-of-a-kind event hosted by the Learning Technology Center of Illinois (in partnership with DPI and CS4IL), new and experienced CS educators from across Illinois will:
- Engage with current curriculum from top CS trainers and providers (including Code.org)
- Build community during group meals and team-building activities
- Discover strategies for expanding access to rigorous, inclusive computer science learning
Attendees can choose one of five learning tracks aligned to specific roles and grade bands, with learning opportunities available for elementary, middle, and high school teachers.
This event is for K-12 teachers and school/district administrators are encouraged to register for and attend this second-ever weeklong event in centrally located Peoria, IL, devoted to preparing Illinois schools today to offer world-class computer science education to students. PD hours will be awarded by the Learning Technology Center. Limited registration scholarships available for qualified applicants.
